Pleasing Place, Accommodating Staff

Our stay at the Golden Nugget in downtown Las Vegas was very pleasurable. Though the view from our room was nothing to write home about, the price was extremely competitive. The hotel is immaculate and well lit. Its staff is extremely courteous and accommodating. The bellhops were very quick with settling us in our room; they barely took ten minutes. The hotel looks luxurious, what with marbled flooring and sweet-scented flower decorations all over. Our King room was very clean and spacious. Housekeeping was very efficient. We tried the buffet breakfast buffet; it was moderately priced and delicious. I would also suggest that you try some local restaurants in the area. We checked out some of the shows organized at the Nugget. The Nugget's casino was nice, but we didn't win anything. The pleasing personality of the staff and the exemplary service were the highlights of our trip.

World class accomodations!

My wife and I always stayed on the "strip". We were encouraged to try downtown, and especially the Golden Nugget. We were very surprised how elaborate the hotel was, and the service can't be beat. We only had to open the door once over 5 days time. Every need is caterered to. Everything downtown is close and convenient, not to mention the best food in Vegas. Try the Paradise Buffet in the Fremont Hotel. On Tues, Thur and Sundays they have a seafood buffet to die for. The Golden Nugget gets the highest rating for everything from gaming to service!
