The room was an average hotel room, but
the hotel and grounds were absolutely
gorgeous. The water fountain show in
the evening, complete with lighting and
choreographed to music, was awesome.
The riverboat tour on a Mississippi
flatboat was a fun trip for the kids,
too. The restaurants, lounge with live
band, and shopping was excellent. Very
romantic atmosphere, but also child
friendly. We have stayed there as a
couple once and as a family once. We
would not hesitate to stay there again.

The rooms were mediocre. I've stayed in better for less. They put us in a double when we paid for a King and when we asked that they change it they were slow to correct the problem. Once they corrected the problem, they lost our luggage in transit and it took them 3 hours to find it. The next day our room keys quit working even though we had paid in advance for 3 nights. Took a trip to the desk to get that sorted out and when we told them we weren't happy and evreything that had happened in the 24 hours we had been there, the desk clerk was snide and rude. The Pam Tillis show was great, but the food was not. The Rockettes were fantastic! So the next time we come to Nashville, we will stay somewhere else and only come over for the shows.

Took me 25 minutes to check in,long line. Traditional Room is small an with no microwave, no fridge. Too expensive (close to $200.00) for a plane room. Any other big hotel around town will beat the Opry on this category.On the positive side, is a nice place to visit during Christmas.Beautiful scenery.

WE GOT A PACKAGE OFFER. WE CAME TO THE
GOSPLE GUBALEE {SP}. WE HAD A BALCONY
ROOM OVERLOOKING THE DANCING WATERS AND
LOOKING UP AT THE PIANO PLAYER, OPRY
TICKETS, AND A GREAT WELCOME AND
SERVICE. WE HAD ROOM SERVICE FIRST
TIME EVER AND THAT WAS SO GREAT. WE SAT
ON BALCONY, LISTENED TO MUSIC AND
WATCHED THE WATERS AND PEOPLE-WATCHED.
THANKS FOR THE BEST MEMORY.

It was one of "my dreams come true", to
stay in this hotel. And the hotel went
beyond my expectations. I was there
for a week for a work conference and
plan to come back with my family. I
know they will love it too!

I was there for a Youth Confrence and
the staff there was so kind and helpful
I would pass it on to everyone to come
and stay there...Especially around
Thanksgiving..The Christmas lights are

The room was quite drap, especially for
the price we paid. We expected more for
all the hype we heard about the hotel.
The staff upon arriving was rude,
reported it but no response, made the
customers feel like an assembly line
number. Had problems with the fees,
hotel tried to tack them on when we
left after them being taken off at
arrival. Would not spend that amount of
money again to stay there. We found
Comfort Inn Suites as nice as the rooms
there, and much cheaper, and the staff
much nicer.

This is NOT your typical hotel. With
over 2800 rooms and 9 acres under
glass, one could spend a weekend just
at the hotel. The holidays make the
hotel come alive as only the Operyland
could do.
Service just does not get any better.
Everything one could want or need can
be made to happen. The PRICE may seem
steep, however, the VALUE is worth it.
