The Ferngrove Cottages were build in the 1920's as vacation units for San Francisco families visiting the Russian river. The cottages are surrounded by towering 200feet high redwood trees. Most have the classic wood-burning fireplaces and interior walls lined with original knotty pine panelling.
Cottages have TV's, some have kitchen units and two bedroom units are suitable for families. Guests are invited to swim in the pool and a continental buffet breakfast is served each morning. The Fern Grove is located just three blocks from the shops and restaurants of Guerneville and an easy walk to the swimming beach on the river.
Canoe trips down the river, Armstrong Redwoods State Park and Champagne winery tours are all within 3 miles. Good pets and children are welcome.
