Oversized Rest and Relaxation in Ocean Beach

My husband and I stay at the Fenwick Inn every time we go to Ocean Beach. It’s always got some kind of economical package deal going, and its staff is very nice. They’ve upgraded us to a King room free of charge twice! The rooms are all “oversized,” and each has the comforts of home like comfy bed, a nice, big bathroom and a 27” TV. I think it’s so reasonably priced because it’s not right on the ocean — it’s about two blocks away. Which is fine with me, for the savings! The Fenwick Inn also has a roof-top restaurant, “Jordan’s,” that we love. We have had some fantastic dinners there. I have a great time at the Fenwick Hotel, and I always get an excellent deal. I hope to be back soon.

This hotel stinks, seek accomodations elsewhere.

The hotel had a nasty smell and was very dirty. The ceiling in my room had a great deal of peeling paint and was in desperate need of repair. The linen and bed spread had yellow stains and needed to be cleaned or replaced. The towels had stains and felt like rocks against my skin. Most of the building smelled like musty cigerettes, with the exception of the lobby which had a strong urine smell. The smoke free rooms smelled like smoke. Several of the staff members were rude. One housekeeper smoked while she worked.
