Good Beach Location But Rooms Need to be Updated
Review From: NexTag Editorial Review, Jun 9, 2008
The Panama City Beach Days Inn is
situated right on the famous white sand
beaches of the city. Stretching more
than 20 miles, the beach provides
fantastic views of the Gulf of Mexico
and access to water sports and fishing.
Other nearby attractions include the
Ebro Greyhound Track, Gulf World, and
Shipwreck Island Water Park.
The seven-story hotel houses 188 guest
rooms with kitchenettes. The rooms are
average in size and include basic
amenities such as cable television and
alarm clocks. Microwaves and
refrigerators are also included. Some
rooms have private balconies with great
views of the waters and the beach. The
rooms are old and in need of
renovation. Better upkeep in terms of
cleaning would also do it wonders.
The main draw of this hotel is its
seven-story-tall mountain waterfall
that pours into the free-form pool. The
waterfall provides a spectacular sight
but the pool itself is small. Crowding
could be an issue, as guests from the
next door Ramada Limited are also
allowed to use this pool. Overall, this
hotel is ideal for Spring Breakers and
those who are less picky about their
rooms.
