All-Suites Hotel with Easy Beach Access

Situated in the heart of South Padre Island, the Comfort Suites South Padre Island is surrounded by miles of white-sand beaches. Located a few steps from the hotel, the South Padre Island Visitors Center can provide information on the many attractions of the area. Andy Bowie State Park, Shlitterbahn Water Park, and the South Padre Island Convention Center are all within easy reach by trolley. This all-suites hotel features exterior corridors in a four-story building. The 74 suites offer refrigerators, microwaves, cable television, and sofa beds for additional guests. All suites have partial beach and bay views. Complimentary high-speed Internet access and USA Today newspaper are also available. The hotel features an outdoor pool and hot tub, as well as meeting facilities that can accommodate a maximum of 45 guests. There is no fitness center on the premises but guests can get free access to a nearby gym. There are also no restaurants on site but this isn't a problem as South Padre Island is surrounded by a variety of restaurants. A downside is that this hotel does not have an elevator. Carrying luggage up four flights of stairs can be a hassle. Overall though, with the spacious suites and beach location, the Comfort Suites is an ideal stay.
