Excellent Value - Great Location

We just got back from South Beach and stayed at the Carlton which was a great experience from check in to check out. The location is perfect, the facilities clean and refreshing, service outstanding and personnel very accommodating. Four of us stayed comfortably in one room. We were literally minutes from night life - shopping and the beach. Best buy on Collins, right smack in the middle of where it is happening. We will definitely stay at the Carlton when we vacation in Miami - South Beach.

Very Much in Need of Renovation

Stayed at this hotel one night Sept. 2005. There were no towels available upon check-in. After asking 3 times we finally received mismatched towels that were in poor condition. The hotel room looked like it had various problems over the years and instead of hiring a professional to fix it, they patched it up in a very poor quality way. The tub in the bathroom looked so stained that I wore shower shoes. Stay away from this hotel. Unbelievable that anyone would give it more than 1 star.

Me and my 2 best friends stayed here for a week last summer and had the best time of our lives. They were renovating last summer, but it was still great. We are now returning and heard it is gorgeous! Can't wait!!!
