Wonderful Experience

I was looking for a getaway and happened to stop at this resort. When I got there, everyone was without a doubt the friendliest I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They didn't have any regular guestrooms available so they put me in an oceanfront room at the same price. I ate dinner in their restaurant and the food was wonderful. All of the employees are very friendly and go out of their way to help you with anything you need. I will definitely go back there again and tell everyone I know about this place.

Make sure you ask for a renovated room

We made reservations in 4/05 for our vacation in 8/05. When we arrived after a 10 hr drive with 2 small children, we found out our room was a complete dump. There were stains all over the carpet and they were soaking wet. They were so gross that I didn't want my kids on the floor nor did I want to take off my shoes. The bathrooms were moldy and smelly. The couch which turned into a bed was ripped and stained, plus the mattress had stains all over it and no lines. The kitchen was falling apart, the refrigerator was rusted. We went back to the main desk and they gave us another room that was just as bad as the first. We asked them for a room that looked like the pictures on the Internet and they explained to us that those are the renovated rooms and they didn't have any available. We got our money back and went next door to the Villas by the Sea and had a wonderful vacation in a clean and updated hotel and it was cheaper too.

Beautiful Location

My husband and I recently stayed at the Jekyll Inn and had a wonderful time. The rooms need to be updated but other than that, the restaurant staff more than made up for eveyrthing else. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and went out of their way to help us. We will definitely go back again real soon.
