Ideal Spot to Stay Right on the Beach for a Reasonable Price

It¿s curious that Camelot by the Sea promotes itself as ¿Myrtle Beach¿s only theme resort,¿ as it could easily rely on its solid reputation (especially since there isn¿t much at the hotel that relates to the ¿Camelot¿ theme). A tremendous value, travelers consistently report satisfaction with the resort¿s comfort, location, and amenities. Centrally located in Myrtle Beach, the Camelot lets travelers dictate their vacation. Although on-site dining and entertainment might be limited, this seems to translate into a very relaxed atmosphere. However, guests that seek more action and activity will find that all of the things that attract visitors to Myrtle Beach¿golf, shopping, dining, and other non-beach related activities¿are within very close proximity. It¿s also very close to the Myrtle Beach International Airport¿a mere 10 miles away.

Very Clean Hotel

My husband and I enjoyed our vacation at the Camelot. We looked at other rooms in hotels near the Camelot but were disappointed in the cleaniness (and smell) of the other hotels. When we checked out the Camelot's rooms we were very surprised at the clean rooms and the openness of the studio's - everyroom having an ocean view was great. My grandchild and I are on our way back down for a weekend visit and are staying at the Camelot again. Great family friendly place without having to leave the area to have fun. Everything is within walking distance.

misleading

The rooms were OK. The maid service was sparse. The Camalot theme is only in the Lobby, where a couple of hotel clerks are dressed in medevil costumes. No resturant on premise. Central location, walking distance to a lot of things. Not at all as presented in adds. 3 stars says it all. The pictures look like more.
