I believe in the phrase you get what you pay for. Well I got a whole lot more from what I paid for this hotel. I stayed at the hotel from February 28, 2006 to March 4th, 2006. The hotel is situated within the Walt Disney World Resort and right across the street from Downtown Disney and Pleasure Island. It's a perfect place to be. The hotel is old, but that doesn't mean it's horrible to stay in. Friendly faces greet you in the plush lobby. The staff are all very nice and helpful. Our room was on the 12th floor. It overlooked the three swimming pools, downtown Disney and Pleasure Island, and some of the other hotels of the WDW resort. You could also see Disney/MGM studios in the distance and also watch fireworks from Epcot center at night. The Room itself is very spacious and the furniture seemed fairly new. The only downside to the room is the bathroom, which needs some renovation. Shuttle buses provided door to door service to all the theme parks. Please note that there is a WDW resort fee included in your bill for each night of stay. This fee is $12.00 per night. It includes access to the spa, health club, bottled water in your room and other amenities. I would say I had an excellent experience with the hotel.
