Great place to spend a long week-end

I picked this place from a recommendation of a friend who has a time share in the area. I was not disappointed. It was very happy with the accommodations. We were only there for two nights, but the room was cleaned on the second day. Had a great experience, would highly recommend this location.

Its the best Resort hotel I have ever stayed at. No other hotel has given me the service that the Boardwalk Resort has given me. Im telling you if you ever visit Virgina pick the Boardwalk Resort.

Lousy Room Service and Impolite Front-Desk

I checked into the Boardwalk Resort Hotel & Villas, 1601 Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach, after confirming my booking with the front-desk over the phone. In spite of this they made me wait for half an hour and gave me the lame excuse that the room wasn't ready. The rooms were pretty clean initially. However, the housekeeping staff failed to visit my room regularly. During my stay of eight days, I had to call the front desk twice for the towels and the bed linen. They apologized profusely but turned their back on me again. I also had to wait for some 15 minutes before I could get running hot water each day. The attitude of the staff at this place will drive off the guests from this beautiful location.
