My Favorite Hotel in Gatlinburg
Review From: Michael, Jun 9, 2008
My brother and I stayed at this hotel last year, and we are taking our wives back to stay there this spring. We visited the Smoky Mountains a few times, but we also stayed and lounged around the hotel a lot. It's such a nice atmosphere. He and I played a lot of racquetball during that visit. And the indoor pool with a waterfall is outrageous! We had a big room last time, but we saw the suites and are going to spoil our wives with those on this trip. They're fantastic, with beautiful wood furniture, a fireplace, and a wet bar. The hotel itself is in the woods and faces onto a stream. There's even a bridge that goes over the stream. There are these cute ducks wandering around all over the place. The hotel's breakfast is a little lacking, though. I highly recommend the Old Mill in Pigeon Forge. Fantastic, hearty meal. Lastly, I must mention the staff at the Zoder Inn. They're great, and very helpful with all sorts of things. They helped us get around Gatlinburg, and they found us a couple good tours of the Great Smoky Mountains. Our wives are really going to love it, and we can't wait to go back.
