Motel with Mountain Streams for Fishing

At the heart of Gatlinburg lies this modest motel featuring 97 guest rooms and ten suites. The Best Western Twin Islands is within walking distance to downtown's many attractions, including its shops and museums. The motel is adjacent to Ripley's Aquarium and a Hard Rock Café. Mountain streams that flow by the motel provide great views and are good for fishing. Guests who want to delve deeper into nature can visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park one mile away.The rooms include balconies that overlook the mountain stream. The rooms are small and the bathrooms even smaller. The décor is dark and outdated, even though the motel was remodeled in 2002. The rooms include basic amenities like cable television and coffeemakers. Some units have fireplaces and hot tubs.The motel has an outdoor pool and children's playground that are centrally located on the premises. Guest laundry and complimentary parking are also offered. Overall, this motel is a good choice for those who like to fish and enjoy nature.
