Unique New Orleans Charm but Far from French Quarter
Review From: NexTag Editorial Review, Jun 9, 2008
The Best Western French Quarter Landmark Hotel is a charming hotel with quaint Southern flavor. The famous Bourbon Street is only three blocks away. The French Market is seven blocks away and the Louis Armstrong Park is just across the street from the hotel. Even though this is billed as a French Quarter hotel, it is located on the edge of the French Quarter. It is a long walk to the major sites of that area and walking at night is not recommended. The hotel is designed in traditional New Orleans style. The 100 guest rooms feature ceiling fans and reproduction Southern furnishings. The rooms are air-conditioned and offer views of the park or the hotel courtyard. The themed hallways are named after major city streets to give the hotel a unique New Orleans charm. The hotel also features a tropical patio and pool. Overall, the Best Western French Quarter Landmark Hotel is an ideal hotel for those who want access to the French Quarter but don't want the noise that comes with staying in the heart of the action.
