Unpretentious Surroundings Provide Pleasant Surprises
Review From: editorialreviews@nextag.com, Jun 9, 2008
"It's nice to have expectations surpassed, and the Best Western Four Presidents Lodge specializes in the art of the pleasant surprise. As simple lodging, it offers quite a few little amenities and loads of peace and quiet for visitors exploring Custer State Park and Mount Rushmore National Memorial less than four miles away, and a launching pad for trips to Bear Country, the Badlands, and the Black Hills.
The three-story motel, which holds 49 guest rooms and suites, offers a continental breakfast, a small indoor pool, a hot tub, some exercise machines, a guest laundry, and free Internet access. Local calls under 30 minutes are free. The rooms themselves are reasonably spacious, clean and, unusual in this day and age, soundproofed, even those facing the main road. While no pets are allowed, this family-friendly lodging allows children 17 and under to stay free with a paying adult. The facility, which boasts a triple A rating, also offers meeting space that can fit up to 100 people, as well as business service such as fax and photocopying."
