Very disappointed!

I have never stayed at a Marriott and been so disappointed! The type room I had requested was not available and the front desk didn't even tell me. I had to specifically ask. I was given the "we'll see what we can do" speach. I had to ask for a manager to get what I requested and paid for. Also, the construction going on adjoining the buildings is quite noisy and the spectic tank was having problems - so there were 2 Roto-Rooter trucks pumping for at least 12 hours. When I fell asleep at 1 a.m., they were still pumping - one on each end of our building! The odor wasn't great either. Housekeeping didn't come until 8:30 p.m. our second night. Also, it is 15 minutes from the real beach. Their advertised beach isn't a beach! I will not return!

They lie!! Not on the beach, not even close!

The Marriott just flat out lied to us. They said they were on the beach, yeah, right......on a smelly bay, with fake beach! DO NOT STAY HERE!! NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE BEACH, PEOPLE!!
