I planned a getaway to Aruba with my husband, and we stayed at Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort. The resort is located far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and therefore the atmosphere there was very peaceful. Our suite in the resort was spacious and well decorated. It had a living room, a kitchen, a large bedroom, and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and a shower. The linens on our king-size bed were fluffy and comfortable. We enjoyed spending time on the patio and at Eagle Beach, located just across the road from the hotel. The staff of the hotel was extremely helpful and accommodating. After a few days of our stay, most of them knew us by face and were friendly. To help guests plan their days, the resort's lobby was stocked with plenty of brochures on activities and events available on the island. There was also a book that included copies of menus from the major restaurants on the island. We hardly ventured far away from the resort, as we found the place very comfortable and relaxing. The location of this hotel is idyllic, and it's a must visit for people who love the sun and the sand.
