My girlfriend and I stayed here on a budget trip to Toronto. We felt that the hotel people were very nice and the rooms were sparse but very clean. As for the surrounding area, it is in the 'Garment District' which closes down daily around 7 or 8pm. After then, the streets are quiet due to no open businesses. It it very easy to walk anywhere you like in Toronto during the day, but if coming back at night I would suggest a cab. Overall, we were very pleased and would return!

Do you want your car broken into

My husband and I went to this hotel about 5 years ago, we had our car broken into and the management did not seem to care. The hotel was very hard to find and no one in Toronto knew where the hotel is. The hotel is in a very bad neighborhood
